The position

We look for a passionate Head of HR (m/f/x) with experience in talent acquisition as well as in building an HR organization to help us execute our growth ambitions post Series A. You will be responsible for establishing and executing a hiring strategy from end-to-end. At the same time, you will be responsible for guiding and coaching managers in all aspects of employee relations ensuring that our core values are endorsed throughout the organization and are manifested in our company culture. You will be working with a cross-functional team of experts across three locations with your main base in Berlin enabling you to dive into the dynamic environment of Berlin’s startup ecosystem.

Your responsibilities

  • Establishing and developing the HR organization as well as establishing, streamlining, and aligning all relevant HR processes
  • Translating our hiring ambitions into a hiring strategy and executing on it owning talent acquisition end-to-end: including employer branding, talent sourcing, pre-selection, interviews, onboarding, offboarding
  • You are responsible for supervising career development (including salary, employee benefits, and training)
  • You are training and advising managers on all aspects of employee relations and development
  • Establish and implement employee engagement program including team events as well as feedback mechanisms and many more

Job requirements

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR / Business or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in human resources including talent acquisition
  • Experience with German employment law preferred
  • Strong track record in defining and executing ambitious hiring strategies
  • Strong conceptual skill to establish and execute hiring strategy
  • Hands-on personality, team-play-spirit and efficient self-time management
  • Passionate about food, health, nutrition and sustainability
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Experience in a science and/or start-up environment is a bonus
